Split Base is a mobile bartending service for private events across Central Pennsylvania. We handle the bar so you do not have to.
That means fully insured, RAMP-certified bartenders who know what they are doing. Professional tools and equipment. Comprehensive liability coverage. Complete setup and cleanup. Wedding, corporate event, birthday, or backyard party: you get great drinks, happy guests, and zero stress.
The name
Why “Split Base”?
It is a bartending term. When you split the base of a cocktail, you combine two spirits to create something better than either alone.
That is our philosophy too. Creative meets operational. Craft meets logistics. Two founders, two strengths, one smooth experience for you.

Two spirits, introduced.
Split Base was founded in 2025 by Jesse Roldan and Chase Nelson. Two bar industry veterans with a combined 20+ years running some of Central PA's most successful bar programs.
The craft // co-founder
Jesse Roldan
Jesse leads the creative side of Split Base. With over a decade behind the bar, he helped launch the acclaimed cocktail bar High Dive and currently runs operations at The Watershed Pub. He brings deep cocktail knowledge and high standards to every event we serve.
The operation // co-founder
Chase Nelson
Chase handles the operational side. Former GM of several notable establishments and current GM of The Watershed Pub, he knows how to run a tight ship. Logistics, staffing, service flow. Chase makes sure everything runs smoothly so you do not have to think about it.

Our team is made up of working bar professionals. People who pour drinks for a living, not just on weekends. They are RAMP certified, experienced with high-volume service, and they know how to read a room.
Craft cocktails or straightforward beer-and-wine service, they deliver. We are selective about who joins because your event deserves better than good enough.
